Bollywood’s Badshah on Nach Baliye Grand Finale

I am a big time Shah Rukh Khan fan. I have seen all his movies, know his dialogues by heart and in fact am planning write his biography (I hope you are reading this SRK!). Bollywood’s badshah was on Nach Baliye’s grand finale. Though I had an earlier commitment for Sunday night, I made it a point to watch Nach Baliye 4. The show was a complete entertainer. I loved Rakhi Sawant’s performance too. She is the Helen of this century! Karishma Kapoor was fabulous and so was Farah. I even loved Arjun’s performance. I was a little sad because my favorite jodi, Kapil and Anjali had not reached the finale. But there was a surprise award for Kapil. He was awarded the Sarvottam Hindi Award.

After tonnes of entertainment Nach Baliye 4 has come to a close. Lets hope that next season there will be more fun and more twists! Star One and Star Plus show some very great desi programs. Shaleen and Daljit set to win Nach Baliye 4!

If you love watching Shaleen and Daljit just as much as I do, then come on vote for them. Shaleen and Dajit are contesting for the Nach Baliye trophy. The other jodi which has reached the grand finale is Naman and Megha. Shaleen and Daljit have performed far better than Naman and Megha. They are undoubtedly a stronger jodi! Be it shadow dance, tap dance or their wonderful performance on dola re, the jodi has showed that they work hard and dance well!

Yug celebrates Vrinda’s Birthday

Vrinda’s birthday has never been celebrated. Still Geetika buys her a gift secretly. Bebe is fighting that this year she will make halwa for Vrinda’s birthday.

I was quite engrossed while watching Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. The Hindi soap which is aired on Star Plus is as popular in America as it is in India. In fact a lot of my friends are actively participating in forums for Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. It is amazing how Yug and Vrinda have become a part of our lives. In fact a friend of mine is hell bent on throwing a birthday bash for Vrinda. Though I am not that crazy, I quite like Vrinda. The chemistry between Yug and Vrinda is amazing.

Nach Baliye goes blogging

While surfing the net last night, I stumbled across Nach Baliye’s official blog site! Indian television has taken a leap into the World Wide Web. Celebrities such as Amitabh Bachhan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have already taken a fancy on blogging. Now, each popular Hindi tv soap or show seems to be vying for making its online presence felt! As I have been following Nach Baliye 4 since it started in October, last year, I make it a point to watch the show each weekend. I too have my favorite jodi but alas I have not been able to vote for them since I live in America. However, through Nach Baliye’s official blog I can vote for my favorite jodi - Kapil and Anjali through Nach's blog. Voila!!

Bye Bye Sudeep and Anantika

Sudeep and Anantika have been one of my favorite jodis in Nach Baliye season 4. It is sad that the duo will not be performing in the grand finale. Last week Sudeep and Anantika, who were in danger zone had to bid Nach a tearful good bye. The jodis who have reached the grand finale are are Daljeet – Shaleen, Anjali Abrol – Kapil Nirmal, Gauri Tonk – Yash Tonk and Megha Gupta – Naman Shaw.

I find Indian song and dance simply out of the world. That is why I have been watching Nach Baliye, despite my poor Hindi. Mom is elated whenever I hum a Hindi song! Thank God, she is not adamant that I speak to her in Hindi. A few of my friends living in Chicago speak fluent Hindi. But me, I can speak Punjabi and English, that’s all!

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai – Akshara discovers love

I have come to really enjoy Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Set against the back drop of rural Rajasthan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, takes me through the life of my mother. Like Akshara, she too was born and brought up in a conservative Marwari family in Rajasthan. It is difficult for a girl like me who has been living in America since birth to grasp the nuances that an Indian women faces. One needs to take permission even before falling in love! Akshara’s life is limited to her family members. After she meets Naitik, she meets a lot of different people. The new relationships, emotions and situations bewilder the shy girl!

Nach Baliye 4- Farah Khan wonderful judge

Nach Baliye 4 is one of the most popular shows in California. I love to watch Nach Baliye 4 aired on Star Plus. My neighbours who are also Indian don’t watch Indian television shows. I told them about Nach Baliye and its awesome judges. The judge panel includes Farah Khan, Arjun Rampal and Karishma Kapoor. They were quite excited to hear about choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan.

Farah Khan feels that Nach Baliye is an excellent platform for the participants to launch themselves, as there is enough time for the participants to improve their moves. After judging singing talent show Jo Jeeta Who Hi Superstar which was also a Star Plus show. She is very happy to be judging the dancing skills of the contestants, as dance is her forte.

Nach Baliye comes up with some new twists and surprises to add more colour and zing to the show. My neighbours have decided to get Star Plus. They are planning to call their cable operator or Dish and Direct dealer. All the best programs are on STAR Television and you can watch it anywhere in the United States.

Akshara in tears- Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

I was really feeling bad when Akshara burst into tears. Akshara is the lead actor in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I really felt how stupid her father was for being upset just because he had seen a guy holding Akshara’s hand. I think Vishambharnath needs to understand that his daughter is a grown up. I would never tolerate anybody asking me questions like- How long have you known that guy for? Does he study and you college? Or did you meet him somewhere else? What is his name? Where does he live? These were precisely the questions Vishambharnath asked Akshara.

I am waiting to see how the situation unfolds. How Akshara tackles the GUY! It will be interesting to watch her go to the college picnic and have fun. By the way, I am going for a picnic too this weekend. All my friends from American History High School have decided on a small reunion.

Nach Baliye’s episode on Saturday was a great treat. Finally, we had the last round of elimination. Now, the next episode will present Maha Muquabala. I really enjoyed the show on Saturday, especially because of Emraan Hashmi. I am a big fan of Emraan Hashmi. Most of my friends like him as well. In fact we have formed a group called- Emraan Hashmi’s Fans in America! Thanks to Star TV our gang of desi gurlz is well connected with what’s happening in India!

Yeh Rishta Kya Kya Kehlata Hai – New serial on Star Plus

“For several days I would wonder why I followed Raj to America. We were perfect strangers until our parents or rather fate decided otherwise. Three days after our wedding, Raj and I left India. I was aghast when I heard mom’s love story. I told her that I was not in for such a love story which worked in reverse gear. “Mom, you fall in love first and then you tie the knot”, I tried to throw light on contemporary relationships and marriage. It was then that mom cajoled me to sit through this new soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kya Kehlata Hai. It is a lovely story which revolves around Akshara.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kya Kehlata Hai takes you through Akshara’s life after she gets married. It is a story of two complete strangers who develop an understanding and love after their marriage. I really have taken a liking to Yeh Rishta Kya Kya Kehlata Hai.

Arjun Rampal in Nach Baliye

I am a big fan of Arjun Rampal. He is Mr. Perfect! After his success in Om Shanti Om and The Last Lear the actor has become very particular about his performance. He has been a fantastic judge in Nach Baliye 4. Nach Baliye 4has so far been a curtain raiser dance show with its bevy of wonderful television celebs. Nach Baliye 4has real life television couples shake their legs to different themes each week.

Of the three judges at Nach Baliye 4 Arjun Rampaldefinitely stands out. This is because he is the only guy in the panel! The other two judges are the beautiful Karishma Kapoor and the new mommy Farah Khan. I really loved the trio’s dance when Nach Baliye 4 was launched. Not many people know that Arjun took another reshoot to ensure that his performance was as good as Karishma’s and Farah’s. Such an action requires huge amount of dedication and perseverance. Undoubtedly I loved Arjun when he performed in the introductory episode of Nach Baliye 4.

Nach Baliye brings Bollywood’s superhit jodis to the set

Nach Baliye 4 is getting hotter and better each week. What I like the most about this show is the innovative themes they come up with. I really enjoyed the episode where all the jodis rocked the set of Nach Baliye 4 as Bollywood’s superhit jodis.

My favorite jodi Sudeep and Anantika set fire on the stage as they danced as Akshay Kumar and Katrina. I also liked Kapil and Anjali’s performance. The duo performed as Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha. However, the most refreshing performance was that of Kishore da and Madhubala presented by Shaleen and Daljit. Amit and Reshmi performed as Mehmood and Mumtaz.

Karishma Kapoor was literally star struck when she saw herself dancing with Govinda! Naman and Megha presented the dance number amid great applause from the audience.

Nach Baliye 4 presents Chance pe dance kar le

Nach Baliye 4 came up with astounding performances last Friday. It was a thoroughly entertaining episode. Pretty Anushka added a lovely spark to Nach Baliye’s set.

Anushka danced with two jodis who had performed very well. Kapil and Anjali along with Naman and Megha got the chance to dance with pretty Anushka.

Anushka had been bowled over by the performance of Kapil and Anjali. The duo had performed a Rajasthani dance. It was an awesome performance. Especially the step when Anjali stood on Kapil’s shoulders and danced.
